Your financial data is among the most sensitive information you have. Here's exactly how CiviQ handles it β no corporate doublespeak.
What we store
- Your name, email, and password (hashed β we can't read it)
- Transactions you log β amounts, categories, dates
- Account names and balances you enter
- Budget limits you set
- Goal names and amounts
- Documents you upload to the vault (encrypted)
What we do NOT store
- Your banking credentials or OTPs
- Your PAN or Aadhaar
- Your actual bank statements
- Your SMS or notification content
AI features and your data
When CiviQ generates AI insights, it sends a summary of your spending patterns to an AI service for processing. Before this happens, all personal identifiers are removed β the AI sees 'Food & dining: βΉ6,400' not 'Hari's Swiggy orders from HSR Layout'. Your name, phone, account numbers, and specific merchant addresses never leave our servers in identifiable form.
