Privacy, export, and delete

What CiviQ stores and how to export or delete it.

What CiviQ stores

  • Your name, email, and a hashed password (never the plaintext)
  • Transactions you log — amounts, categories, dates, notes
  • Account names and balances you enter
  • Budget caps you set
  • Goal names, targets, and progress

What CiviQ does NOT store

  • Your banking credentials or OTPs
  • Your PAN or Aadhaar
  • Your bank statements
  • Your SMS or notification content

Export your data

    Open Settings → Data
  2. 2
    Tap "Export CSV" or "Export JSON"
    The file downloads immediately.

Delete your account

    Open Settings → Data
  2. 2
    Tap "Delete my account"
    A confirmation dialog opens.

    Confirm
    Your account and personal data are deleted. Financial records may be retained in anonymised form as required by Indian regulations.

Your DPDP rights

  • Right to access — request a copy of all data CiviQ holds about you
  • Right to correction — ask CiviQ to fix inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure — request complete deletion
  • Right to grievance — contact CiviQ support for any concern
