Once connected, you can log expenses, income, and splits just by sending a message to the CiviQ Telegram bot. No app to open. No form to fill. Just text.

Go to Settings → Integrations
Find the Settings option in the sidebar (gear icon). Go to the Integrations tab.

Tap 'Connect Telegram'
A modal opens with a QR code and a button.

Open in Telegram
Either tap 'Open in Telegram' (opens the bot directly) or scan the QR code with your phone's camera.

Tap 'Start' in Telegram
The CiviQ bot opens. Tap the Start button. The bot confirms your account is connected.

Connection confirmed
The CiviQ settings page updates automatically — you'll see a green 'Connected' badge with your Telegram username. Done.
⚠️ The connection link expires in 10 minutes. If you take too long, tap 'Connect Telegram' again to generate a fresh link.
🤖 The bot's first message after connecting: '✓ Hey [Name]! Your CiviQ account is linked. Try it: spent 450 on lunch'. Most people try it immediately. It's very satisfying.
